Fairview Presbyterian Church - 126 Fairview Church Road Fountain Inn, SC 29644 - established in 1786 and is the oldest Presbyterian Church in Greenville County. The church was named "Fairview" in honor of the old gray stone church in Antrim County, Ireland, from which its founders came to America in 1773.  The rock walled cemetery hold buried several Revolutionary War soldiers, as well as forty-six Confederate soldiers. Liberty Bridge - in the Falls Park, this bridge is 345 feet long, 12 feet wide, has a horizontal curve radius of 214 feet and 90 foot towers weighting 26 tons each and lean away from the bridge at a 15 degree angle, and it is cantilevered toward the waterfall from supporting cables on the outside.

Cowpens National Battlefield - located north of downtown Spartanburg off interstate 85, the battlefield commemorates a major American victory in January of 1781, which helped turn the tide of war in the Southern campaign of the revolution.  Each January there are special events and reenactments of the battle.
